VISITATIONS
A Grace-Filled Visit of Sr. Bridget Diengdoh to the Bangalore Province
Sr. Bridget Diengdoh, General Councillor for Evangelization, arrived in the Bangalore Province on 1 October 2026. During her visit, she visited our communities at Ravulapalem, Emani, and Ventrapragada in Andhra Pradesh, as well as Ferrando Convent, Mysore. As part of her missionary outreach, she also visited villages and families, strengthening her connection with the people and deepening her understanding of their lives and experiences.
A significant highlight of her visit was the session on “MSMHC Evangelizers,” which invited the Sisters to reflect on their missionary identity and the call to proclaim the Good News through prayer, personal witness, and compassionate service. Drawing inspiration from the Church documents Ad Gentes and Evangelii Gaudium, Sr. Bridget emphasized the importance of being rooted in Christ and guided by the Holy Spirit in all evangelizing endeavors.
On 13 October, the Sisters joyfully celebrated her birthday with a prayer service and a special programme, thanking God for the gift of her life and dedicated service to the congregation.
Her visit was a grace-filled opportunity for fellowship, reflection, and renewed missionary commitment. We express our heartfelt gratitude to Sr. Bridget and pray that God may continue to bless her with wisdom, strength, and joy in her service to the Church and the congregation.
